Biography

Hi, I’m Artha Julie Nava.

I started my career as a writer since in college in Indonesia. I was a journalist, writing for the university’s newspaper and bulletins, and continue my career as a social researcher and consultant. After married, I moved to Detroit with my husband and continue my passion in writing. I built this blog specifically for sharing knowledge about writing as well as my passion in history and spiritual topics.

Awards that I’ve received: 1st Winner of Prose Writing Competition (2009) – Forum Lingkar Pena Amerika-Canada, 1st Winner of Writing Blog Competition (2012) – Indonesian Writers Forum (Forum Lingkar Pena), 1st Winner of Bilik Sastra/Literary Chamber Award 2012 by Voice of Indonesia (VOI), 30 Finalists of Indonesian Womenpreneurs 2013 (Fimela.com), and Finalists of Kartini Next Generation Award 2015 (Indonesia Ministry of Communication & Information Technology).

The numbers of books I’ve written so far are 25 (and counting), ranging from memoirs, business book, novels, and anthology. Most of books that I’ve written for my clients (ghostwriting) were not mentioned here.
